Gender in Problem Based Learning: Curiosity Analysis, Problem Understanding, and Problem Solving Ability

Research objectives This is analyze the effect of problem-based learning and gender on students' curiosity, problem understanding, problem-solving abilities. research was conducted two classes Mataram Model X Madrasah Aliyah students who were selected using cluster random sampling technique. Student curiosity data measured a questionnaire instrument, while understanding solving abilities question test instrument. Then, analyzed by MANOVA at significance level 5%. The results showed that had significant abilities, but did not have understanding. . male higher than female students, opposite occurs in conventional group taught with learning. comprehension lower both study groups. students. However, has no curiousity, , ability. interaction curiousity
